Big Bay State Park is located seven miles from the Ferry landing, this is a gorgeous family park. It features camping, picnicking, hiking along 9 trails in the park, fishing, swimming at two miles of sand beach, and interpretive programs. Big Bay State Park is a 60-site family campground with shower and an indoor group camp. There is an accessible beach boardwalk with a self-guided nature trail.
Camping Reservations are generally required, especially during July and August.

The Harry Nelson Recreation Center is location on Middle Road. It includes a picnic shelter, playground, tennis court, & skate park, & ball field.
Please call for renting availability of the Recreation Picinic shelter.

Joni's Beach

Located on Main Street just a few blocks from the ferry landing. Joni’s beach includes a sheltered picnic area, playground, a dock and beautiful sandy beach. Public Restrooms on-site. Please call Town Hall 715-747-6913 or use the form above to reserve the picnic shelter.
